Why You Give

Our donors recognize the importance of quality health care for themselves, their families and friends, and the larger community. Many give as a way to say "thank you" to the doctors, nurses, and other caregivers who have cared for them, family members, or close friends. In giving, there is also a wonderful opportunity to give tribute to loved ones who may hold the hospital and its community close.

Stories from Our Community

When possible, we like to highlight some of the motivations, the "whys", behind the donations that have been made to the hospital. Sometimes donations serve to pay tribute to the important people in donors' lives, including family members or friends. Other times, our supporters wish to give back to Springfield Hospital to say thank you for a positive experience. When you make a donation to the hospital, you have an option to include comments expressing your thanks or paying tribute to a loved one. Not ready to make a donation today? You may also share your thanks via our "Say Thanks" form.

If you would like to make a gift, whether it be to thank a current staff member who helped you or a loved one during a recent visit, or in honor of someone that you care about that is no longer with us, please feel encouraged to learn more about the different ways to give.

Grateful Giving

Share your appreciation for a special doctor, nurse, or other healthcare professional who made a difference to you or a loved one. If you'd like, you may share why you'd like to thank this individual.

Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts are an opportunity to honor a loved one. Make a gift in memory of a deceased friend or loved one. When making your donation, you may inform us of the name of the deceased and next of kin to be notified of your gift.
