Learning to Live Well with Diabetes (& Prediabetes)

Please join us for our next session if you have been diagnosed with Diabetes or Prediabetes. Support is here to help you learn to manage this chronic condition! This 4-week series, led by a Certified Diabetes Educator offers an opportunity to gain knowledge and support for individuals newly diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes that to want to learn all about the best strategies to manage it successfully. This program also serves as a great “refresher” for those that have been previously diagnosed, but may benefit from a review. The class will cover all of the comprehensive areas of Diabetes Education, including; “What is diabetes/pre-diabetes?”, Healthy Eating, Being Active, Monitoring blood sugar, Taking Medication, Problem Solving, Reducing Risks and Healthy Coping. Introduction to the use of goal setting and action planning will also be featured. This program will be led by a Certified Diabetes Educator and offers time for questions, answers and discussion! Join us for this exciting program!
