It’s important to take steps to reduce your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Currently, 86 million Americans have prediabetes and many are unaware they even have it. You have a greater risk of developing Type 2 diabetes if you:
• Are overweight
• Don’t get enough exercise
• Have high blood pressure
• Have a parent, brother, or sister with diabetes
• Are over age 40 (risk continues to increase as we get older)
The good news is there is a lot you can do to help prevent diabetes.* This FREE, year-long, evidence-based program supports and educates adults who are at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes or have a diagnosis of prediabetes. It positively encourages participants to reduce their risk by adopting healthier eating and exercise habits and improve overall health and well-being through the course of the year. Please call for more information to see if you qualify. *
