Childbirth Center Update
Spring is in the air, and with it, an emphasis on new life. As the leaves return, please help us finish adding the leaves to our lobby donor tree, while supporting the renovation of the Childbirth Center at Springfield Hospital. Our tree only has 32 leaves remaining, and our project still needs your support to be successful. Although we have already raised approximately 400,000, and we have hired an architect and engineer, we still need approximately $200,000 to accomplish all we seek to do. With the closure of the Alice Peck Day birthing center, our facility is more important than ever. By purchasing a leaf, you can help us demonstrate our commitment to a healthy start for new families in our community. The renovation project will offer a family waiting area, new labor/delivery/recovery suites, a safer tub room, and improved medicine storage. In addition, your gift can be made in honor or memory of a loved one and this distinction can be noted on your leaf! You can use the enclosed envelope to send in your contribution today. Bronze leaves can be purchased for $500, silver for $1,000 and gold for $2,500. Please consider helping our tree ‘leaf out” and celebrate the importance of a strong start to young families in our community. Only a few blank leaves remain…waiting for your tribute!
